Ken Onion was born in 1963 in new York, USA. Since childhood, the future master was fond of knives, and all that is connected with them. It began with the fact that at an early age, the Onion has put together a collection of simple serial knifes and a little later his hands got the latest issue of the specialized magazine Knives Illustrated… Then Ken realized that makes the creation of knives for my profession!

The first teacher Ken Oniona became a local master Stan Fujisaka, and in 1991, Wall made his first knife.

At the moment the Master has received many awards at international knife show “Knife of the year 2005”, “Knife of the year 2007”, “Hall of Fame” of the magazine Blade Magazine and others.

Ken has 36 patents, among them his famous SpeedSafe®, which brought the master of the particular success in the United States and around the world. The essence of the system that are not making automatic knife, the spring accelerates the opening when the finger pushes the pin or fin. Knives with a similar system did not fall under the law banning automatic knives, which acts in some US States and around the world.

Clients Ken Oniona were many Hollywood stars such as Steven Seagal, Nicolas cage, kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, Wayne Newton and many others.

The master worked and works with many companies producing the serial, the knives in his design: Kershaw, Benchmade, Gerber, Ontario, Buck, and others.
